His work explores topics such as Latine, multiracial, and Jewish POC identity; masculinity, migration, mental health, social justice, art, and community organizing. He applies a popular education approach to all of his workshops, whereby presentation and lecture is limited and facilitating engaging peer-to-peer discussion and interaction for learning is prioritized. As an experienced facilitator with years of training in establishing healthy spaces for dialogue and conversations about identity and power, Jonathan is well-equipped to facilitate a variety of affinity spaces for individuals possessing a common identity. He incorporates community-building activities, thought-provoking art and media, and group dialogue tools to support participants in processing, reflecting, and advancing understandings of their own and others' identities.
